Welcome!
Hi there and welcome :) Here I'll be covering things reated to web development, which is what I do for a living. I currently live in Adelaide, South Australia with my wonderful wife and two cats (Nibbles and Cameron).
I am a Drupal evangelist and work with it quite regularly. In my opinion it offers the most functionality whilst still retaining the most user-friendliness possible, out of all the open source (and some of the closed source) CMS' I've tried. Just check out the list of sites using Drupal and the awards that Drupal has won over the last few years. Bundle that with a winning community including friendly forum and IRC users (check out #drupal-support on Freenode, my username is snufft, say hi!) and you're on to something good!
In addition to Drupal, I do my fair share of front and back end development. I've been writing X/HTML and CSS since I was in high school and picked up PHP and SQL at university. I've since worked with a number of PHP frameworks such as Zend and Code Igniter and have used a variety of different PHP/MySQL open source software packages and a whole bunch of other programming languages like ActionScript 3, HAML and SASS, JavaScript and jQuery just to name a few.
I hope you find the content on my site interesting and informative :) The purpose of this site is mostly for me to be able to provide tutorials etc for Drupal newbies, so that I can give back to the community that has given so much to me. If you have any questions, please contact me, or comment on any of the relevant topics that I write about. I apologise if my reply is not timely, but working full time and freelancing takes up the majority of my days.
Cheers,
Josh
